At Sunrise.

Tunnel Beach Entrance Tunnel. (Yes, you have to climb down there to reach the beach.)

cookIMG_8499
Otago Peninsula Sealion. Doesn’t he look just like a piece of driftwood? It was funny to see the faces of the people that nearly stepped on him.. xD

cookIMG_8504
Rare yellow-eyed penguins have returned to the dunes for the night.

Moureaki Boulders – weird stone bubbles on the beach.

New Zealand isn’t real, you know. It’s just a painting.

Oamaru is famous for it’s Blue Penguins that breed there. What a noise they make!

We’re watching a Rugby Game with our fellow Wwoofers from the Chillawhile Backpackers! :)

Elephant Rocks – they did one Narnia scene in here.

cookIMG_8623
Probably that’s the reason for the name.

Brilliantly Blue – it’s because of the melting ice further up. (Glaciers of course)

Brrrr. It just looks cold – but it wasn’t after all.

Stand on the edge of the lake, but take care. You can fall in. It’s not a firm surface and it’s real.. whatever it may look like.

On the road to Christchurch. A most amazing sky again.

In Christchurch.

cookIMG_8827
Christchurch Centre Church. There is a reason people call this city the most southern English place.

Buskers at one of the markets.

The Arts Centre. :)

So.. I hope you had the patience to load all of those.. and you liked them. Have a great day. :)

  1. hey Katja!

  2. (ach ja, deine Fotos sind umwerfend & bezaubernd!)
